“Two years ago, I was ready to quit singing. A student recommended Jordan to me, and I've never looked back. Without his expertise and knowledge, I would have stopped singing and stopped growing as an artist and person.
As a teacher, Jordan instructs every student with a holistic approach. He knows how to push and encourage singers to be the best version of themselves, and knows exactly what to say when things are tough. I look forward to every single lesson, and I know that Jordan will always be there for me.
Two years later, I'm a District winner at the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, I have an upcoming contract with Central City Opera, and a finalist for multiple year-long residencies with major American opera companies. I've premiered three new roles, and have grown exponentially. I truly can't wait to see what we'll continue to create as mentor and student, and I'm even more excited to see what we'll create as friends.”

“Working with Jordan has been one of the most impactful experiences of my artistic development. Jordan has an exceptionally keen ability to diagnose the precise obstacles between a singer and their goals, and then prescribe practical, repeatable tools to overcome them.
Jordan’s passion for his students’ success is supported by a nuanced and rigorous pedagogical mastery. He consistently upholds the core principles of his bel canto lineage while recognizing that each student learns differently; there is no “cookie-cutter” approach to the application of his technique. This flexibility allows him to cultivate and refine voices with both immediacy and lasting results.
His deep love for opera and its historical traditions is complemented by his understanding of the realities in the modern educational and professional landscape. This balance results in achievable, concrete steps and well rounded guidance for building a sustainable career today. Jordan is not only training the instrument, but the artist. His lessons demand focus, accountability, and disciplined work, while also offering the patience and kindness necessary to support both developing and professional voices.
After my conservatory education and study with many figureheads in the field, my faith in many common operatic training methods had begun to waver. My technique felt unstable, fragmented, and cluttered. My performances were shaped by competing opinions and rigid ideas of right and wrong. I relied heavily on fear and perfectionism as motivation, which ultimately eroded my confidence.
I can say, without hesitation, that the stark contrast after training with Jordan for a few years has completely changed my relationship to my voice, my art, and my security in the career. I have since experienced success across high-level performances, auditions, competitions, educational opportunities, scholarships, grants, and much of the validation I’ve craved as a young artist. I have developed a clear identity within my vocal fach, and most importantly, my trust in my technique and artistic instincts has grown exponentially. As I move into upcoming roles and continued higher education, I know I have a dedicated, thoughtful mentor by my side. I wholeheartedly recommend Jordan to any singer serious about meaningful growth or those tired of artistic dead ends.”

I've been studying with Jordan since my junior year of high school, and I attribute so much of my success to him. He guided me through the end of high school and all of undergrad.
Not only did he help me grow has a vocalist, but he helped me chase my dreams and create a career I'm happy with. I now teach students of my own full-time! His mentorship has been invaluable to me and I couldn't ask for a better teacher.

“Aside from being a singing teacher, Jordan is a kind, understanding and supportive individual. The way he communicates and delivers feedback, whether this is for technical work or general discussions is of the highest order.
He truly understands the ability to adapt to a singers’ current foundations and not completely doing a 360 on things - and this flexibility as a teacher really sets him apart from the rest. In addition, as an active opera singer himself, Jordan also understands everything from the singers’ perspective, whether this is for auditions, performances or external factors - there is a clear understanding, empathy and relation to everything, which makes the sessions not only more open and transparent, but also fun and positive.
Jordan is always on hand outside of lessons to help with any advice, tips or questions. I cannot emphasise how wonderful sessions are with Jordan, and I can personally say, I finish each session feeling inspired and motivated as both a singer, and as a person. I only wish I started with him sooner. All I can say is thank you Jordan, and for any other aspiring singers, please take the opportunity to have a lesson with Jordan - I can assure you, you certainly won’t regret it!”
— Rhydian, tenor
“After about a year of studying with Jordan I can confidently say my technique has improved tremendously.
He has helped me grow not only as a singer, but also in my confidence and clarityabout my path post-graduation. His support and insight have made a lasting impact, and I would highly recommend studying with him if given the opportunity.”
